New Century Lions Club East Anglia are a group of dedicated, caring and fun volunteers working together in a flexible way to help less fortunate people at home and abroad.

Young Leaders in Service is a great opportunity for young people to be recognised for their fabulous service to the community. These young people from Loughborough College have been volunteering at Colville C.A.N. And have been awarded their Young Leaders Inservice awards by our Lion President Sue.These amazing young people from Loughborough College volunteered at CoalvilleCAN for their Duke of Edinburgh Award volunteering section. They were also awarded the Lions Clubs International Young Leaders in Service Silver Award by national advisor Lion Sue Hibbert. ![]()

Thanks to all the volunteers who have been knitting, crocheting and sewing hats for the Caps of Courage Christmas project.
New Century Lion Kelly-Marie has been the fantastic head of this project that is rapidly growing.
If you would like to take part in making hats for children who have cancer. Please get in touch and we can tell you more. We are continuing to collect and distribute hats to hospitals and other groups so continue to need your help.
Caps of Courage aims to provide any child undergoing cancer treatment with a hat of their choice free of charge.![]()

Our brilliant members Lion Kelly Marie and Lion David have been down in London dropping off caps made by volunteers through the Caps of Courage programme to Great Ormond Street Hospital and Charity![]()
This fantastic idea has been masterminded by Lion Kelly and backed up by hundreds of wonderful volunteers around the country who are knitting, sewing and crocheting caps for children who are undergoing cancer treatment.
The scheme hopes to create enough caps for every child who is undergoing treatment to have a cap free of charge. In the short time this programme has been going Lion Kelly Marie has received hundreds of caps from our creative volunteers.![]()
This programme will help support the Lions Clubs International global cause of supporting Childhood Cancer.![]()
